Tadpoles

(2-3s)

The tadpoles start the day with a greeting at the door from Mrs. Burow. Then they're off to the activity of their choice. They may choose from the housekeeping area, sand table, riding toys, climber and slide, modeling dough, painting at the easel, blocks, puzzles, and books. After clean up, the children enjoy stories, finger plays, songs and music at circle time. A small, nutritious snack is provided by the participating parents for snack time. As weather permits, the children spend the last few minutes outdoors on the playground.

The tadpoles are taught by Patty Burow. She has been teaching the two year olds at Northeast since 1980! Patty holds a B.S. in Speech Pathology and is also a former Co-op mom.
